BACKGROUND
Abandoned at a private adoption centre, the small baby was adopted happily by a loving couple and an ecstatic brother, all three happy for the addition to their family. A family of love and values they cherish. On that very day, the little girl finally received her name. Tifa. Quite unique and inspired by greek mythology. A shortened name for Theophania - 'Theophany is the appearance of a deity to a human. This term has been used to refer to appearances of the gods in the ancient Greek and Near Eastern religions.' It may also be inspired by a certain video game and video game character that was released in January and her father & brother were a huge fan of but they often playfully refuse that's the reason.
Her childhood was relatively normal. Her family were loving and took care of her, raising her to be the woman that she is today. Her parents were even determined to not let her be blind towards her origins and thus, hired tutors to teach her Korean and had regular trips to South Korea. Tifa is eternally thankful that her family aren't ignorant to where she came from nor lied to her about her adoption. She believes it's the honesty between them that helped her also become she is. Tifa isn't ashamed of her family but, also has strong desires to know who her birth parents are. Tifa is at a stage that's past the hatred for them abandoning her and just desperate to know them. It doesn't mean she doesn't have moments of anger, though.
Despite having friends through primary and high school, Tifa is a victim of the classic bullying from a group of girls and boys. The girls were internally jealous of her appearance and how Tifa rejected to be a part of their group and rather make her own friends and the boys... well they just enjoyed bullying her for the hell of it. Evidently, not all of her peers were cruel to her but it doesn't mean that Tifa doesn't have moments where she relives the trauma alone.
Fast forward to the current year, Tifa Chase decided to leave London to start a new chapter of her life. She decided to study nursing and medicine in South Korea. Tifa secretly hopes to find information on her birth parents but isn't actively looking for them. She still keeps in contact with her family via video calls and social media. Tifa is excited to start this chapter and hopes to make new connections so that she isn't alone.

PERSONALITY
Tifa is a softly spoken girl full of sweet and genuine words to ease people into being comfortable around her. She is the kind of person to always put those before her, finding her own source of happiness through others being happy. Despite being rather quiet and reserved, Tifa opens up to those who she becomes friends with, revealing a more up beat and bubbly female who is eager to go out on any kind of adventure with those she befriends. Although, still has a few secrets that she keeps till she truly trusts someone. While Tifa enjoys taking care of those around her, whenever there is someone who takes care of her personally or merely just protecting her; Tifa loves and deeply appreciates such actions. She is a strong, mature female but with a childish side. Tifa desires for people to view her as the strong female she is but also understand that she has many sides to her. She's not afraid to be feisty and attempt to show her strong side. Tifa can be incredibly stubborn and often becomes loud to stand up for any form of injustice if she witnesses it.

As mentioned, Tifa dyes her hair regularly. She believes hair is just another form of 'art' or beauty so why not dye it whatever colour you like or style it however you want.Wants to get a couple of small tattoos but is concerned about the pain so someone probably needs to convince her.Suffers from OCD. During her teenage years, Tifa was quite unstable with it and couldn't cope. Eventually she got the right medication and treatment to help her. Though, she has rough days that triggers her to act out. Whether it's aggressively cleaning the kitchen counter or alphabetically sorting her bookcase.Tifa has to wear glasses during studying, any form of reading and especially at work.Her fashion taste is a large variety from cute skirts to baggy jumpers.She won't admit that she's studying French cause it's the language of romance. Extremely stubborn and isn't ashamed of it. Though, listens to whatever people have to say. It's more of it's just difficult to change her mind unless valid reasons are produced.Really longs for affection but will never admit it either.Tifa enjoys both going out to have fun and staying inside with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and reading.Cannot handle conflict as it reminds of her being bullied.A light weight.
